Easter Greetings!
This past Easter weekend, a very special visitor dropped by Country Village: the Easter Bunny! The sun came out after a long week of rain and brought with it a beautiful warm spring day. Riding around on decorated golf carts, the Easter Bunny made its way around the community spreading joy and cheer to the residents.
Thanks to the help of volunteers from West Coast University and the Jurupa Valley Lions Club, over 1200 goodie bags were delivered door-to-door across the community. The bags were specially prepared by the Country Village staff, chockful of colorful eggs, candies, and face masks hand-made by members of the Riverside Gurdwara Sikh Temple.
Due to the nationwide Stay At Home order, Country Village was not able to host its annual Bunny Hop shindig. This spring time event is a favorite among residents and their families, full of fun games, prizes, delicious treats, and photo ops with the Easter Bunny. All completely for free! But this year, instead of the residents coming out to see the Easter Bunny, the Easter Bunny went out the see the residents!
Country Village would like to express gratitude to the Jurupa Valley City Council, the Riverside Sikh Temple, the Jurupa Valley Lions Club, and West Coast University. Without their help and generosity, this special project would not be possible. From the Country Village staff, THANK YOU!
